help with losing weight/fat on a stationary bike? (Answers: 2) (Comments: 0)

im trying to lose weight/fat by using a stationary bike i just bought, and i was wondering how many hours of this i have to do a day?? the bike says i burned 270 calories in an hour, but i checked online for a activity calorie calculator and from different sites, i burned an average of 600-700 calories during that hour.. im confused and not sure how accurate any of this is, and if im only burning about 200 calories is it even worth it?? someone told me to lose fat you have to burn more calories than you eat, and i dont think i can eat that much more less, since im already trying to start a healthier diet plus lifting weights..
